In music, an interlude

is the composition played between main acts — the in-between chapter. That's exactly what these pieces represent. I can feel a shift coming in my future work, and this collection has served as a consolidation of my style, pointing me toward where I want to go next.

I created these pieces in the first few months of becoming a mum — in the midst of something chaotic, exhausting, and filled with love in equal measure.

 

I drew in between feedings and naps, sometimes late at night. The practice grounded me on this journey and kept my spirits up through the toughest days.

 

I love each of these pieces deeply, and they remind me of the most transformative time in my life.
