"Afterparty" was inspired by my other artwork where a woman wearing bright pink socks is captured in a silly freestyle dance flow. To continue that scenario, I imagined what her room would look like after she turns the music off and goes to sleep.
 
The drawing is mounted on a wooden panel with a frame, that I polished and varnished with dark walnut lacker for protection and to give a vintage feel to the artwork.
The edges are decorated with leather strips.
The paper surface is covered with a few layers of special fixative spray that keeps paper from fading and damaging.
