I made this artwork when I was living in Bali, and my friends brought me beautiful sunflowers for my birthday. It inspired me to capture that moment and depict a feeling of just appreciating gifts of nature.
 
The artwork is framed: the edge of the wooden base of the canvas is decorated with leather to protect the edges and add a vintage feeling to the art piece. Paper surface is protected with a fixative spray.
